Welcome to Nic's Healthy Life. If you're interested in healthy living, minimalism, personal development and/or all things blogging, this is the site for you.
I'm Nicola, a blogger, freelance writer and small business owner from Essex, UK (just outside London). As well as running Nic's Healthy Life and writing copy for other sites, I run an Etsy store called Bloggers Do It Better where I sell stationery, tote bags and printables. I also have a 'real job' in a bank four days a week. I've been there for eight years and I don't love it, but unlike freelancing, it does offer the security of knowing I'll be paid at the end of every month so I'm staying put for the time being.
My interests include healthy living, minimalism, travel, learning new languages, plant-based cooking, reading, running and going for long walks. As you've probably guessed, I'm pretty busy most of the time.
A few fun facts about me:
I'm ambidextrous. I prefer to write with my right hand but do most other things left handed.
My favourite food is broccoli. I realise that's weird but I just love the stuff. I could eat it with every meal for the rest of my life and probably never get sick of it.
My favourite social network is Twitter and I'm usually quite active on there so give me a follow if you want to keep up with my day-to-day life. I'm also on Instagram.
What is Nic's Healthy Life?
I created this blog in March 2015. It began strictly as a nutrition and fitness blog as I wanted to educate people on the importance of healthy eating and exercise, and help them on their own journeys to optimum health, fitness and wellbeing.
Since then, I've branched out into writing about minimalism, personal development, blogging tips, product reviews and general lifestyle posts. I use Nic's Healthy Life as my creative outlet and as a way to connect with other bloggers, writers and people who share my interests. I hope you'll stay and have a look around.
